About Us

Our Specialties

Our services for public school districts are designed to provide customized programs of support in construction projects.

Program Management

Our comprehensive Program Management service plan provides the broadest scope of support by combining planning services, pre-construction services, and construction phase services. This service is ideal for districts seeking building improvements to enhance the quality of their schools.

These services help school districts:
  • develop educational specifications that support changes in enrollment, improvements in grade-level structures and your goals that you have established for delivering a high quality education for your student.
  • identify the needs for construction, renovation, and reallocation of space.
  • establish a short- and long-term plan for implementing changes.
  • estimate the cost requirements.
  • set forth specific program requirements so that the architect will develop a design that meets your needs.
  • uncover cost-savings by using specialized construction planning methods, such as Value Engineering and Critical Path Method Scheduling.
  • ensure that the project is carried out on-time and on-budget.
By choosing us to act as your Program Manager, we can help you achieve your goals more quickly and cost-effectively. You can read more about the value of Program Management or contact us to tell us about your plans. Our Project Portfolio features schools who have selected our Program Management services.

This service includes a detailed study of a facility or facilities within a school district. At the conclusion of our studies, we provide you with a strategic facility plan that includes a master list of improvements.

This service helps districts
  • gain a clear picture of the needs of one, several, or all of the facilities in the district.
  • develop an improvement plan that prioritizes the required projects.
  • anticipate budget requirements building improvements for upcoming years and seek sources for funding.

Facility Planning

This service is similar to Master Facility Planning, but we focus our studies, reports, and plans on a specific scope of work, such as the addition of a new gymnasium or creation of a computer lab. Like Master Facility Planning, we perform a close analysis of your objectives, your existing utilization of space, and your educational programming, as well as perform cost modeling to provide you with realistic estimates for the work.

Construction Management

Our Construction Management services are available to clients as part of our Program Management service or a standalone service. Clients who have completed initial planning and are entering the design phase of the project can benefit in time- and cost-savings by relying on our extensive experience in pre-construction and construction phase management for schools.

Construction Management includes the following specialties:
  • Value Engineering. We can analyze designs and develop alternative designs to find the most economical solution.
  • Scheduling. By applying the Critical Path Method (CPM) of scheduling, we can develop a plan that keeps all phases of the project moving in the right direction at the right time.
  • Pre-Construction Efforts. We can lead contractor meetings to ensure that all staff understand the goals and requirements of the project. In addition, we can assist contractors in developing OSHA safety plans, obtaining Act 34 clearance, and necessary permits.
  • Construction Phase Monitoring. We can oversee daily operations at multiple construction sites to ensure that our goals for quality, cost control, and scheduling are on track.
  • Documentation. We capture and record all information that's vital to the development of your project — information that's invaluable for future projects and during closeout efforts.
  • Closeout. As each phase of the project ends, we conduct inspections to ensure that work is completed to standard. When needed, we will coordinate corrections to work until it meets all requirements.
